Lake Isabella, CA – Kern Valley Hospital will continue offering COVID-19 testing for the next few weeks. This is an opportunity for our community to test locally rather than drive to Bakersfield. As the state and county continues its efforts to re-open businesses, we want to remind our community to continue practicing social distancing, wear a facemask, wash your hands often, and avoid touching your face.

We have seen our numbers tick up slightly over the last week. It is hard to pinpoint if it is because we now have widespread testing available, the influx of visitors or community members feeling more confident traveling outside the valley. We urge those who suspect they may have been exposed to take advantage of our test site. For anyone who might feel under the weather, take advantage of our test site. The testing is available to anyone wishing to be tested, whether they are symptomatic, or not.

Testing is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, beginning at 7:00 am through 2:00 pm. Please be aware there may be a minimal wait if we begin to see a surge in testing. You must be in line no later than 1:30 pm to be assured of testing that day. Please enter our parking lot off McCray Rd. and staff will direct you when to move forward.
