Kern Valley Deputies Make Arrest for Heroin, Methamphetamine and Illegal Firearm Possession

Lake Isabella, CA – Deputies from the Kern Valley Substation, on February 8th, conducted a probation search at a residence in the 8000 block of Rocky Hill Road in Onyx.

During the probation search, deputies located and seized three firearms, including a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition for these firearms, heroin, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and contraband indicative of drug sales.

The firearms seized included, a “GSG” .22 caliber carbine rifle with a silencer attached, a sawed-off shotgun, and a .32 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

Patrick Booth (29) was subsequently arrested and booked into the Central Receiving Facility in Bakersfield for the crimes listed below.
H&S 11366 – Maintaining a drug house.
H&S 11370.1 – Possession of a controlled substance while armed.
H&S 11378 – Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of sales.
H&S 11377 – Possession of a controlled substance.
H&S 11350 – Possession of narcotic controlled substance.
H&S 11364 – Possession of drug paraphernalia
PC 29800 – Convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
PC 30305 – Convicted felon in possession of ammunition.
PC 33410 – Possession of a firearm silencer.
PC 33215 – Possession of sawed off shotgun.
PC 32310 – Possession of high capacity firearm magazine
